Makeology is working to bring the internationally established Young Engineers programme to the Horsham and Crawley area from January 2027. Children learn engineering, science, mechanics and problem-solving through hands-on building and experimentation.

An introduction to STEM through stories, creative building and hands-on discovery. Children construct models while exploring simple scientific, mathematical and engineering ideas.
Bricks Challenge
Children build working mechanical models while discovering the engineering and physics principles that make them work.

The Young Engineers programme is internationally established and delivered in many countries. Makeology is working towards bringing it to the Horsham and Crawley area — the local licence and launch are not yet final, and all details above are proposed and subject to confirmation.
We're currently exploring Young Engineers sessions in Horsham and Crawley through local primary schools, community and family venues, holiday activities and selected partner venues. Nothing is confirmed yet — your expression of interest helps us understand where the demand is.
