How inductions will work.
Once the makerspace opens, you'll complete a short induction with one of our technicians before using most machines. Here's what we're planning.
The physical Makeology Makerspace in Horsham isn't open yet — it's our future ambition, and nothing on this page is bookable or on sale. Read more on our Makerspace page, or register your interest to hear when that changes.
Induction Required
When we open, machines marked as "Induction Required" will not be usable until you've completed the relevant induction. This is for your safety and the safety of other makers.
Register your interest
Tell us which department you'd like to be inducted into and we'll be in touch as plans progress.
Attend the session
A qualified Makeology technician will walk you through safety procedures, machine operation and best practice.
Pass the assessment
Complete a short practical assessment to demonstrate safe machine operation.
Start making
Once signed off, you'll be cleared to use the machines independently.
